Access Creative College
Now in its 26th academic year, Access Creative College (ACC) is the UK’s leading games, music and media college, serving more than 2000 learners across 7 UK Campuses.
ACC has been educating young creatives in Bristol since 1992 where, up until now, it’s been based out of its renowned rehearsal and studio facility in Hengrove, used by the likes of Portishead and Roni Size.
The college started life as Access to Music before rebranding in 2017 with a mission statement to develop the next generation of creatives through innovative, practical, employment-led training. Operating as England’s largest private training provider, ACC now offers courses in Games, Media, Music and Events with plans for further diversification.
ACC is investing heavily to broaden its offering to enable more young people in the Bristol area to enter the creative industries.
2019 will mark the next phase of ACCs evolution in the region – the College is building a new 12,000 square foot Campus in the city centre, which will open its doors in Spring. Situated just around the corner from Broadmead, students will benefit from brand new state-of-the-art facilities, across two floors with potential for future expansion.
Phase One of the development will include a virtual reality suite, green screen studio and a multitude of games and media labs.
