Arbor Ales team up with Ravers2Runners to raise money for Caring in Bristol

By Miles Arnold  Wednesday Jan 10, 2024

Ravers2Runners (R2R) comes to Bristol this January, introducing the city’s first ever sober pub run – ‘Dry Run 2024.’ The run takes place January 27, from 12-3pm. Collaborating with Arbor Ales, Lost Horizon, and other independent venues, the event is in support of Caring In Bristol.

The run welcomes small teams and solo runners, offering a unique challenge that promotes positive sober sessions without sacrificing the joy of friends. The event features challenges and low-alcohol pints at various venues.

Starting at Lost Horizon with a warm-up led by Jo Bryan-Smith, the event ends with a raving warm down with local DJs on Lost Horizon’s sound system.

Prizes await the most creative, quickest, and raviest teams. The event aims to raise funds for Caring In Bristol, a charity that addresses homelessness in the city. Due to venue capacity, registration is limited, and individuals are urged to sign up promptly via Headfirst.
