Bristol Celebrates Sustainable Business Excellence at Future Leap’s Awards Ceremony

By Bristol24/7  Thursday Oct 12, 2023

Bristol is gearing up for a night of recognition and celebration. On November 9th, 2023, the Bristol Hotel will host Future Leap‘s Sustainable Business Awards Ceremony, the grand finale of this year’s Festival of Sustainable Business. This event promises to be a great opportunity to connect with and applaud businesses leading the charge for a greener, more sustainable future.

In a world where the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) warns of imminent climate and ecological crises, the responsibility falls on the business community to act swiftly. The Awards Ceremony stands as a beacon of hope, a celebration of organizations at the forefront of sustainability. These trailblazers are being honored for their contributions to the well-being of people, prosperity, and the planet.

The evening kicks off with a drinks reception,  followed by a gourmet three-course dinner, crafted from locally and sustainably sourced ingredients, underlining the commitment to eco-conscious practices. The highlight of the evening, of course, will be the unveiling of this year’s award winners from the highly anticipated shortlist.

Distinguished guests will grace the occasion, including the presence of Mayor Marvin Rees, who will officially open the event. Notable figures like Natalie Fée, the founder of City to Sea and author of “How to Save the World for Free,” along with Angus Barr, a theatre-maker, comic songwriter, and environmental activist, will conclude the event with a special musical performance.

This celebration provides a platform for organizations and individuals to celebrate their achievements and forge crucial connections. Collaboration, united by a common goal to advance sustainability, is the underlying theme of the evening.

Future Leap expresses its gratitude to sponsors Thought Quarter, Building Growth South West, Bristol City Leap, and Termex, without whom this event would not be possible. The awards themselves are proudly sponsored by TLT LLP, EQUANS, lawlight solicitors, Albert Goodman, and Rin Hamburgh & Co.
