Bristol’s wildlife photography gallery opens submissions for it’s third year

By Bristol24/7  Friday Oct 27, 2023

Bristol’s burgeoning wildlife photography scene is set to come alive once again as Future Leap and Niche Frames proudly announce the return of the third annual Wildlife Photography Gallery. The event promises an exceptional platform for budding photographers to exhibit their work in central Bristol.

As the excitement builds, photographers of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply for a chance to have their work showcased in the gallery. Submissions officially open on November 1st and will be accepted until December 1st. This year, the gallery will exclusively focus on UK wildlife, with the aim of celebrating the rich biodiversity found in the United Kingdom while also promoting the conservation of its native plants and animals.

The grand unveiling of this year’s gallery is scheduled for January 25th during an exclusive ticketed opening night event. Attendees can look forward to a captivating evening that includes a first look at the gallery, a series of inspiring talks, a bar and relaxed networking opportunities. To sweeten the deal, every ticket holder will receive a complimentary beer upon entry, generously donated by Lost and Grounded.

A highlight of the evening will be the announcement of the winning photographer, selected by the expert judges from Niche Frames. The lucky recipient of this prestigious accolade will be awarded a £100 voucher at Niche Frames. Additionally, following the grand opening, there will be a month-long exhibition at the Future Leap Hub on Gloucester Road, where the public can enjoy these captivating wildlife photographs.

Photographers, both amateur and professional, are encouraged to seize this opportunity to share their work before the submission deadline on December 1st. Whether you have captured a remarkable moment at your bird feeder or patiently waited for elusive creatures like badgers and hedgehogs to make a cameo, Future Leap invites you to submit your wildlife photographs.

This event promises to be an incredible celebration of the beauty of UK wildlife and an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the preservation of our natural world. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this exciting exhibition. For more details about the event and the submission process, click here.
