City Business Library event

By Bristol24/7  Monday Aug 3, 2020

Better Business member City Business Library will be hosting an online event on Wednesday, August 5 exploring how small businesses can thrive by ensuring an inclusive working environment.

In this special panel event speakers will talk about how start-ups and small businesses can develop and embody a true diversity policy.

Each panellist will share their personal experiences as women, members of BAME and the LGBTQI+ community. They will offer advice on engaging with diversity networks and working with them to develop a strong diversity strategy – and therefore a happy and powerful workforce, as well as a strong dedicated customer base.

Better Business
Better Business is an initiative launched by Bristol24/7 to help businesses thrive, whilst creating a positive impact on Bristol and the people who live here.

This event will also act as an online networking forum, hosting breakout rooms where attendees will be able to join a room with one of the speakers, meet other founders keen to grow as a diverse business, and share contacts. Networking opportunities is something that has been missed during the coronavirus pandemic.
