Dial A Geek joins the Better Business Network

By Bristol24/7  Wednesday Nov 15, 2023

Bristol-based Managed IT Provider Dial A Geek has joined Bristol 24/7’s Better Business Network – an initiative set up to help businesses collaborate and drive positive change in the local area.

Awarded Employer of the Year at the 2019 and 2020 Apprenticeship Awards, Dial A Geek has been a Living Wage Employer since 2022 and a certified B Corp since August 2023. Becoming a member of the Better Business Network is just its latest step towards improving its social and environmental impact.

Dial A Geek is an environmentally friendly Managed Service Provider (MSP) that specialises in cybersecurity and compliance for green tech companies and B Corporations. The company hopes to lead the Bristol tech industry to a place where the client’s compliance is not an add-on but the standard and where sustainability is at the heart of all business decisions.

Better Business
Better Business is an initiative launched by Bristol24/7 to help businesses thrive, whilst creating a positive impact on Bristol and the people who live here.

‘As an ethical business, we want to make sure that all our operations take into consideration the wellbeing of our stakeholders and our impact on the environment,’ Gildas Jones, Dial A Geek’s Managing Director said. ‘We are very excited to join Bristol 24/7’s Better Business Network. We are all proud Bristolians and passionate about our city and our community.’

On the subject of the company’s compliance-focused Managed Services, Technical Director Yusra Shaeik added, ‘We not only fully manage our clients’ IT but also ensure they stay compliant and secure without any hidden charges. Our service, Protect & Grow, comes with three different plans built around specific compliance requirements. We also make sure – through complete device lifecycle management and end-of-life programs – that our clients’ IT is as sustainable as possible. 90% of their hardware is refurbished, reused, recycled, or donated to underprivileged communities that need access to technology.’

If you’re a charity that doesn’t have an IT budget but thinks they could use some help, Dial A Geek is currently offering a day of pro bono work. Send an email to office@dialageek.co.uk.

And if you’re a for-profit business, why not try Dial A Geek’s 30-day free trial? This is a limited-time offer only, so get in touch now.
