Ecologi joins the Better Business network
A platform for real climate action that facilitates the funding of tree planting and carbon reduction projects has joined Bristol 24/7’s Better Business network
Redcliffe-based Ecologi drives positive environmental work worldwide through its simple but powerful subscription service.
To date, the company has planted over 46m trees on behalf of its subscribers and funded climate solution projects that have reduced over 2.1m tonnes of CO2.
Its mission is to reduce 50 per cent of global CO2 emissions by 2040 and responsibly plant billions of trees every year.
To do this, Ecologi calls on individuals & businesses to take personal responsibility and help tackle the most significant threat of our generation.
Linda Adams, the head of partnerships at Ecologi, said the company is delighted to join Better Business, an initiative that is helping businesses thrive as well as positively impacting the city and community.
“We are really excited to become involved in the opportunities that the initiative offers, connect with other businesses and members of the community and, hopefully, play our part in sharing knowledge and tools to help make Bristol a more sustainable city,” said Linda.
Ecologi’s monthly subscriptions are used to support a broad range of carbon-reduction projects that are certified by Gold Standard or the Verified Carbon Standard.
Subscribers can also contribute to tree-planting initiatives, which Ecologi outsources to a range of tree-planting partners who are able to responsibly plant millions of trees a month.
With over 35.5k members, including 14.1k businesses, Ecologi provides the tools and the guidance to help those who want to tackle the climate crisis, helping people on their individual sustainability journeys and businesses with their net-zero goals.
Collectively, with a little input from a lot of people, Ecologi believes that we all have the power to secure our future.
