By Bristol24/7  Monday Aug 15, 2022

Future Leap’s purpose is to give organisations the space, knowledge, contacts and tools to accelerate their sustainability and progress to net zero.

Joining the Better Business network is an extension of Future Leap’s mission to support local business and communities to collaborate and innovate for a more sustainable future.

Supporting organisations to reduce their climate impact, Future Leap provide advice and guidance across all areas of environmental sustainability.

Better Business
Better Business is an initiative launched by Bristol24/7 to help businesses thrive, whilst creating a positive impact on Bristol and the people who live here.

They do this through offering carbon measurement and reduction consultancy, financing support, a schedule of knowledge-sharing events, a dedicated membership programme as well as offering carbon-neutral, flexible workspaces in which organisations can base themselves.

An award-winning company, Future Leap began as a network for sustainable businesses in 2005, before establishing a physical space on Gloucester Road in early 2020. This “hub”, the first of its kind in the UK, became a manifestation of the progressive solutions and services available to businesses, in turn inspiring them to move in the same direction.

Following the launch of a second location in Clifton earlier this year, Future Leap is now home to a thriving community of change-makers and thought leaders.

Having recently wrapped up the final instalment of the Festival of Sustainable Business, which saw hundreds of attendees flock to Paintworks for an exhibition of purpose-led organisations, the Future Leap team are now turning their attention to the upcoming Conference, Exhibition and Sustainable Business Awards, which takes place in 2023.

These events are aimed at uniting businesses and individuals throughout Bristol in order to progress the region’s sustainability practices.

Fenna Leake, managing director said “Better Business mirrors our values of acting locally and making a difference within the city we love. We are delighted to have joined this network and look forward to participating in Better Business initiatives and supporting fellow businesses in delivering their sustainability ambitions.”
