PwC appoint a new regional leader

Previously, John- Paul (JP) led the strategy and consulting practice for PwC UK, a Better Business member. He was also a member of the Global Strategy and Leadership team and the UK consulting team.

JP has worked for PwC for many years, joining the company in at their Cardiff branch in 1995. Later, he joined their management consulting practice in London. He has also spent time at the offices in Melbourne, Australia.

Commenting on his appointment, JP declared that he is “passionate about building a strong economy that provides local people with the opportunity to prosper.”

Better Business
Better Business is an initiative launched by Bristol24/7 to help businesses thrive, whilst creating a positive impact on Bristol and the people who live here.

He continued “As a result of the investments we’ve made over the last few years we are well placed to play a leading role in helping the region realise its potential.”

PwC’s West and Wales region extends from South Wales to Cornwall with offices in Cardiff and Bristol. Having been born and raised in South Wales and attended the University of Exeter the region has always been home for JP.

Outgoing regional leader, Katherine Flynn commented “It’s been an absolute privilege to lead the West and Wales region for the last four years… I’m delighted to hand the baton to JP, who I know will be a great ambassador for the firm and the region.”
