Why shouldn’t you publish a podcast?
Did you know that 7.1 million people in the UK listen to podcasts? That’s 1 in 8 people. And according to Ofcom, these figures are set to continue to increase.
Whether you’re a large business, a small business or someone who is passionate about a hobby, podcasting is a great way of getting content to your audience. It’s a great way of helping your audience to know, like and trust you. And, if you’re not keen on creating video, then podcasting is the next best thing.
Allowing your audience to hear your voice gives them the opportunity to get to know you better. They can get a better sense of who you are and what you stand for. And so, make a better decision on whether they want to follow you and potentially become your follower.
My name is Maria Newman and I have my own podcast the ‘Mummy on a Break’ podcast, which I’ve been creating and publishing using a very simple process and without having to invest in any equipment.
I got into podcasting by pure accident. A friend of mine basically said to me, ‘Maria you should have a podcast’. My immediate reaction was, why, I haven’t got time and surely it’s going to be difficult. He said it’s not difficult. You just need your phone and the right app. And so, here I am over a year later with four series published and working on my fifth series.
I now want to show you how easy it is. I want to show you that it doesn’t require any fancy equipment and I didn’t have to buy any equipment either.
That’s why I’m running a one hour interactive online class.
During the hour, I will take you through a 4 step easy process to take you from a blank piece of paper to being able to publish your first episode.
I will show you that publishing a podcast just needs the enthusiasm to create great content and a mobile phone.
