Airbus has marked the delivery of its 10,000th aircraft as the manufacturer continues its highest ever level of production.
The company, which employs 4,000 people at its Filton base, many in innovation and design roles, is set to deliver 650 aircraft this year across its product line. 6,700 aircraft still on order for future delivery – ten years of production at current rates.
