Apply for this year’s £16.3m grant for social enterprises
Resonance has teamed up with Big Issue Invest, Key Fund, the School for Social Entrepreneurs and UnLtd to deliver £16.3 million worth of grants for 500 social enterprises.
The grant, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, aims to help social enterprises rebuild and grow their income from trading, enabling them to support their communities to recover from the pandemic.
In 2020, the same grant was given to over 600 social enterprises including 15 located in Bristol. EastSide Community Trust, a social enterprise that addresses inequalities experienced in its local neighbourhoods, received some of the funding to help support its work on the community centre, adventure playground, community magazine and more.
“We lost income from our buildings overnight and other grant funding sources were postponed. So the funding from the Social Enterprise Support Fund, has been amazing enabling us to support our key services to adapt and respond to COVID-19,” said Stacy Yelland, from EastSide.
Applications for funding open on November 25 and is available to social enterprises if most beneficiaries are in England, with an annual income between £20,000 and £1.8 million.
