Bristol comms agency hold huge fundraiser

By Bristol24/7  Monday Jan 25, 2016

Three directors of Bristol communications agency Research Media are taking part in an Apprentice-style challenge to raise money for children’s charity Plan UK.

Launched in January, the challenge has seen the directors lead teams in a competition to raise as much money as possible through a range of different activities, including bake sales, car washes and even sponsored hair removal.

Following a month of various fundraising schemes, the challenge will culminate in a big evening fundraiser at Pata Negra on Thursday, January 28. A ticket to the event will cost £5 and will include a free drink upon arrival, discounted cocktails, DJ sets and a major auction and raffle.

Better Business
Better Business is an initiative launched by Bristol24/7 to help businesses thrive, whilst creating a positive impact on Bristol and the people who live here.

A range of impressive Bristol-based prizes will be on offer, including lunch for four at The Ox, dinner for two at Hotel Du Vin and a voucher for a £600 tooth-whitening treatment.

Employees at Research Media picked Plan UK as their charity of choice due to its important work around the globe, working with children and young people in some of the world’s poorest countries to help build a better, safer future.
