The idea behind the award-winning devices was coined when, Nick Webb, one of the founders of Rockit, noticed that every time his three-month-old’s pushchair stopped moving she would wake up.
He created a prototype which replicated the side-to-side motion of a buggy being pushed and found it worked a treat, and helped his daughter fall back to sleep.
Since developing the product with the other founders, Matt Dyson and Matt Sparrow, the Rockit Rocker and their other innovative devices are sold in more than 40 countries across the world.
Rockit has also created devices which mimic the sound of someone shushing a baby to sleep and a device which replicates the vibrations felt during a car ride. Helping youngsters get much needed shuteye around the globe.
