Business Showcase returns at Ashton Gate

By Laura Collacott  Monday May 16, 2016

Business Showcase South West returns to Bristol on May 17, set to attract thousands of business leaders.

It will be the first B2B exhibition to take place in the new stand at Ashton Gate Stadium, set to be the South West’s largest conference and events venue when the £45m rebuild is completed in summer.

Executives and business leaders are invited to a day of workshops, seminars, speed networking and keynote sessions. Speakers including Wing Commander Andy Green OBE – the world’s fastest man and driver of Bristol’s Bloodhound supersonic car; entrepreneur Judith Levy and Professor Dimo Dimov.

Green will take to the stage to talk about leadership, the mindset of success, and facing the challenge of breaking the near impossible sound barrier and what businesses can learn from his experiences. A full-sized model of his 1,000mph jet and rocket powered car will be on display at the event.

He will be joined by Professor Dimo Dimov with a keynote entitled ‘Letting Go of Judgement’, an insight into the power of judgement in business and how it can enable entrepreneurship to flourish, alongside Judith Levy, former CEO of High and Mighty, talking about her 30 years of leadership and how to do it well.

Business Showcase founder Jamie Breese said: “We are all set for a huge year with two planned Showcases at Ashton Gate. I want [it] to be a business-packed experience that delegates feel has helped them solve the problems and challenges in today’s business world.”

Breakfast networking from 10.30am. Reserve your space at www.showcase2016.com
