Business West becomes a B Corp
One of the largest chamber of commerce in the UK, Business West, has been certified as a B Corporation for its social and environmental performance.
The organisation’s carbon neutral target, real living wage accreditation and transparency in supply chains have all contributed to it becoming a B Corp.
Phil Smith, managing director of Business West, says he is “delighted” about the certification.
“At the core of our mission is sustainable and inclusive growth of the region, which prioritises quality of life for those who live, work and learn here,” he said.
“B Corp certification provides a roadmap of how we as a business can continue to improve and encourage others to join us so that we have a greater impact in the region that we serve.”

“This is a movement of companies who are committed to changing how business operates and believe business really can be a force for good.”
