Engine Shed launches investor-in-residence service

By Laura Collacott  Monday May 22, 2017

Engine Shed has announced a new investor-in-residence service delivered in partnership with Deepbridge Capital and Accelerated Digital Ventures (ADV).

Available from May 22, the investor-in-residence service will provide non obligatory consultations with experienced investors from Deepbridge and ADV and give companies feedback on their pitch, advice on where they can find the right type of investment, and insight into what the partner investors are looking for.

Better Business
Better Business is an initiative launched by Bristol24/7 to help businesses thrive, whilst creating a positive impact on Bristol and the people who live here.

“Talking with those who use our facility, the need for balanced, straight guidance about investment is critical to businesses whether they are at start-up or scaling for growth stage,” commented Engine Shed director Nick Sturge. “There is a wide range of investment opportunities in the marketplace and often businesses aren’t sure what they need, when and who to choose.  Deepbridge and ADV are able to provide such expert advice and we know that this service will prove to be popular.”

Simon Tutton of Deepbridge added: “Our team of experienced business builders specialise in supporting and funding technology and life sciences innovations across the UK, utilising Government initiatives such as the Enterprise Investment Scheme and Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme.  We are delighted to now have our first formal footprint in the South West.”

Bookings can be made online at engineshediir.youcanbook.me and are available during normal office hours. Companies do not need to be a member of Engine Shed to benefit.
