Former hotel to be transformed into serviced apartments
A former hotel is set to take on a new lease of life as a luxury apartment complex.
Clifton House Hotel has been acquired by serviced apartment provider Your Apartment, whose co-founders Charlie and Toby Guest have started work transforming the building.
When completed by early November, the new aparthotel in Tyndall’s Park will comprise of 25 new studio serviced apartments available for short-term lets.
Each residence will have a kitchenette, en-suite bathroom and king-sized bed. There will also be private parking and bicycle storage.
Your Apartment says it will “make the most” of the former hotel’s Victorian features, such as high ceilings and spacious rooms, while adding a “splash of colour”.

Toby Guest, director and co-founder of Your Apartment, said: “More and more hoteliers are coming around to the idea that visitors to the city are moving away from the typical branded city centre hotels models pioneered by Premier Inn, Ibis and Holiday Inn.
“A new era is sweeping in where both business and leisure guests desire more in-room amenities and a more independent style of living.”
Your Apartment opened its first aparthotel in Clifton Village in December 2020, and it is also transforming a Grade II listed building in Old Market into one.
Toby added: “Several months since we launched our flagship aparthotel in Clifton Village, we’re overjoyed that we now have a new group of serviced apartments to add to our rapidly growing portfolio of short term lets in the Bristol region.”
