Lucy & Yak to open permanent shop in Bristol
Lucy & Yak are opening a permanent shop in Bristol, it has been announced.
After hosting a pop-up earlier this year, the clothing company now plans to have a longer-term space in our city.
Opening on October 1, Lucy & Yak’s second UK shop will be located on Stokes Croft and will sell a range of “conscious clothing” items – including its popular brightly-coloured dungarees.
The owners also hope that the shop can become a space for customers to recycle, repair or upcycle their clothes.

Lucy Greenwood, co-founder of Lucy & Yak, said: “We are so excited to be coming to Bristol permanently, following a great pop-up earlier this year.
“The city is such a cultural and creative place and one we can’t wait to be a part of! It also allows us to reach even more of our amazing community, which is something we plan to do more of this year and next – keep your eyes peeled!”
Lucy & Yak, which celebrated five years in business earlier this month, was founded by Chris and his partner Lucy Greenwood who were making handmade pouches from pre-made clothes while in New Zealand.
When they arrived back in the country the duo bought an old VW camper van – named Yak – which became their home, transport and office.
The branch on 20 Stokes Croft will join its flagship store in North Laine, Brighton.
