New Bristol vending machine thought to be world first

By Caitlyn Eldridge  Thursday May 5, 2022

A vending machine with a difference has arrived at Cribbs Causeway.

The brainchild of Sassy Shop Wax founder Keely Parsons, the pink wax melt vending machine features more than 40 different scents that can be available to buy at the press of a button – literally

The vending machine, located next to John Lewis, has been long in the works and is believed to be the first of its kind in the world.

Keely said it’s a dream come true to see her vision come to life.

“I can remember going to the mall on the weekends with my friends when I was in school, the fact that you can now shop products we created makes me so proud,” said the mum-of-two.

Keely added: “It’s been a six-month-long project, we wanted a shop for so long but with Covid-19 and the pressures of rising expenses, I’m so grateful to be able to create a new shopping experience through a convenient self-service safe.

“I’m very excited, I think it’s so important to create an experience for the customers and the machine does, all without a shop.”
