New NatWest digital centre brings 80 jobs to Bristol

By Aphra Evans  Friday Jun 2, 2017

Natwest is opening a ‘centre for digital excellence’ at Trinity Quay which it says will bring 80 jobs to Bristol.

Roles being recruited include software engineer, test analyst, solution designer and business analyst. The centre will offer digital and mobile solutions to commercial and corporate customers.

It is next door to NatWest’s Entrepreneurial Spark hub, a business accelerator that has created more jobs than any other of the bank’s hubs in the country.

Better Business
Better Business is an initiative launched by Bristol24/7 to help businesses thrive, whilst creating a positive impact on Bristol and the people who live here.

“This area has one of the lowest unemployment rates of all UK regions and Bristol has seen an astonishing 10% growth in jobs over the last three years,” commented Matt Hatcher, NatWest’s director of corporate and commercial banking for Bristol, noting the strong digital talent base in the city.

“This new studio not only shows our commitment to having a leading digital proposition for our commercial and corporate customers but also reiterates the bank’s investment in the South West.”
