Oracle launches cloud accelerator in Bristol
Oracle launched a Bristol chapter of its Oracle Startup Cloud Accelerator (OSCA) to deliver a structured acceleration programme to group of high growth companies. Working in partnership with SETsquared, global no.1 university business incubator, the tech giant will be based at Engine Shed to provide world-class facilities to selected start-ups. Oracle Senior Vice President of Product Development Reggie Bradford, a serial entrepreneur himself, will lead the program expansion.
Similar programmes have already been launched in Bangalore and Tel Aviv.
“We are thrilled to be working with Oracle on the Startup Cloud Accelerator,” said SETsquared centre director Monika Radclyffe. “We have had a very positive feedback from startups already working with Oracle teams and we look forward to seeing more success stories emerging from OSCA.”
“The next five to ten years promise innovations and growth that will drive new business ideas enabled by the cloud,” said Reggie. “Oracle understands that startups are at the heart of innovation, and through this program we aim to give startups access to extensive resources and support when they need it most.”
