Portal lists free business support

By Laura Collacott  Monday Feb 22, 2016

A new online hubs has launched to provide a first port of call for any businesses looking for publicly funded support.

The West of England Growth Hub – www.wearegrowth.co.uk – is a joint initiative, powered by Business West for the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership. It gives businesses instant access to an extensive, connected network of business knowledge and skills partners. This will ultimately lead to more sustainable business growth and a targeted, more effective use of public resources.

The web portal offers a range of services including; finance assistance, support for high growth businesses, access to skills packages, manufacturing, innovation and research advice and export support. Based on the ethos of community and relationships, the West of England Growth Hub offers benefits to both support providers and businesses looking to grow, which it is hoped will stimulate growth and lead to a stronger local economy.
