Purplefish’s new commitment to employee experience

By Bristol24/7  Monday Jan 31, 2022

Bristol-based communications consultancy, Purplefish, is growing its company by focusing on employee experience communications.

To head up the new division, Purplefish has hired employer experience and brand expert Lucy McKerron, who will join the team as the associate director.

Following the pandemic, the Paintworks-based team recognised the importance of employee experience as businesses saw an unprecedented turnover of staff and talent shortages amid the pandemic.

Better Business
Better Business is an initiative launched by Bristol24/7 to help businesses thrive, whilst creating a positive impact on Bristol and the people who live here.

Lucy will be joining the team from her previous role of Head of Business Development and Marketing at McCann Synergy.

“Lucy has exceptional experience and we’re very excited to be welcoming her to the team. We know from client feedback that staff attraction and retention is on everyone’s agenda and people are looking beyond the salary and package to company culture and experience,” said Jo Randall, founder and managing director of Purplefish.

“CMOs are putting employer brand and experience higher on their marketing and  comms priorities for next year and this extension to our offer means we will be  offering complete communications consultancy for both brand and employee  experience which helps businesses put their people at the heart of their  communications strategy.”
