Recruitment firm ‘makes waves’ in advancing menopause policy
A “big-hearted” Bristol-based recruitment business is levelling up in matters surrounding the menopause.
Baltimore Consulting’s CEO and head of marketing have both become CPD accredited by the Institute of Government & Public Policy in advancing menopause policy in the workplace.
Based in Prince Street in the centre of Bristol, the company are currently working toward becoming a menopause accredited employer.
Charmaine Vincent, CEO of Baltimore Consulting, said: “Behind every successful business is a passion to improve – for us, life is not standing still. Investing in our staff and ensuring that we have an inclusive work environment is integral for us as a business.
“As a woman that entered perimenopause in her late 30s and truly understands how debilitating symptoms can be without the right guidance, I’m naturally extremely passionate about ensuring our staff are educated and equipped to support each other on their own unique journeys.”
51 per cent of the population will go through the menopause at some stage of their life, which could attribute to a high percentage of any workforce.
As well as developing their menopause policy and improving practices in house, Baltimore Consulting has trained their entire leadership team to manage menopause in the workplace and are well-equipped to now signpost support to their entire workforce.
