Redcliffe & Temple BID partners with Neighbourly
Redcliffe & Temple Business Improvement District have partnered with Neighbourly, a giving platform aiming to deliver £1bn of social impact by 2025 across the UK.
Good deeds are delivered through Neighbourly, which connects charities and community groups in need of volunteers or support with local businesses that have a workforce available to offer their time to these causes.
Redcliffe & Temple BID are looking to connect the 200 businesses they represent with charities and community groups in the Bristol area, of which there are more than 800 on the Neighbourly platform.
Steve Bluff, head of Redcliffe & Temple BID, said: “We know from our discussions with our businesses that finding local good causes for their teams to support is really important and the ability to track and measure the impact is really helpful, so we are delighted to team up with Neighbourly to offer this unique service.”
Neighbourly CEO Steve Butterworth added: “Bristol has an abundance of successful businesses, that operate in the heart of their local communities. Using the Neighbourly platform will not only enable businesses to help build happy, healthy, and more resilient neighbourhoods, but also to measure their positive impact, a feature that is truly unique to Neighbourly.”
Charity or community groups who would like to be involved with this scheme should visit the Neighbourly website. Businesses in the Redcliffe and Temple area can sign up for free through the Redcliffe & Temple BID campaign.
