Runway East becomes city centre’s largest co-working operator
A co-working operator in Bristol says it is now the largest in the city centre.
Independent provider Runway East says it has overtaken global provider Regus, operating 82,000 sq ft of office space across the city against Regus’ 58,000 sq ft.
Runway East says it now manages 10 per cent of all Bristol’s office supply, with sites in Bristol Bridge and Bristol Temple Meads and clients including Octopus Energy, Deliveroo, TravelLocal, Creative UK and Paymentsense.
Natasha Guerra, CEO of Runway East, said: “Becoming Bristol’s largest co-working operator is a real accolade for an independent business.
“It is symbolic of the changing workplace culture and greater demand for employee experience over space – and our mission to destroy boring offices.
She added: “Bristol has the strongest office market growth rate of any UK city outside of London. It’s a superb place to be with an emphasis on renewables and tech whilst offering a good work/life balance.
“Extremely low vacancy rates and a short supply of high quality serviced offices have led to a strong uptake of employers looking for an operator that reflects their values.”
Runway East is a B Corp certified flexible workspace provider which has been operating since 2014.
Initially a hub for tech entrepreneurs, it has now grown to nine spaces across London, Bristol and Brighton.
