Second Bristol Oracle Startup Cloud Accelerator cohort revealed

By Ellie Pipe  Thursday Jul 26, 2018

Gapsquare, Sauce and We Build Bots are among the Bristol-based tech startups to have secured a place on the prestigious Oracle Startup Cloud Accelerator programme.

This is the second intake of tech companies who stand to benefit from access to technology, coworking space and mentorship in the incubator, that also offers an ever-expanding global network of peers, as well as a global alumni.

The full five-strong cohort, announced earlier this month, includes Snap Tech, a world-class visual search tool for the fashion industry, LettUs Grow, which provides cutting-edge agricultural technology and We Build Bots, inventors of an artificial intelligence and analytics platform.

Gapsquare, a leading provider of pay transparency and gender pay gap analysis, and Sauce, a cloud-based video collaboration platform make up the full group.

“The startups in Bristol continue to raise the bar for global cloud innovation, and we are proud to welcome a select group of five to our second cohort,” said Reggie Bradford, senior vice president of startup ecosystem and accelerator at Oracle.

“Following the success of our initial cohort in Bristol, we will continue to leverage our cloud expertise, leading cloud products, and global network to support their rapid growth.”

A recent Oracle success story is Interactive Scientific, a growing company which developed a pioneering invention that is now being used in schools across the country.
