SETsquared Bristol’s #Idea2Pitch event comes to Barton Hill
Tech companies seeking business support and pitching advice from industry experts are invited to SETSquared Bristol’s #Idea2Pitch workshop.
The event offers a chance for aspiring entrepreneurs and startup founders to enhance and hone their skills before approaching investors, as well as an opportunity to make connections with professionals and mentors within the sector.
The workshop will be held at the Barton Hill Settlement on April 30 from 12.30pm to 4.30pm, and attendees will receive exclusive access to SETsquared’s business experts and will be able to refine their ideas and pitches among peers from Bristol’s startup community.

The event will be held at Barton Hill Settlement
“We are pleased to be hosting #Idea2Pitch at Barton Hill Settlement following a successful event at St Paul’s Learning Centre last October,” says Monika Radclyffe, SETSquared’s centre director.
“Since the launch of our new breakthrough bursary, we are continuing our work to reach wider communities, and hope to bring our expert pitching advice and insights to more companies in need of business support.”
The bi-annual workshop is held at different community venues to ensure business support in the city reaches wider audiences. Attendees are invited to join the regular SETsquared Connect networking event at Engine Shed in the evening.
Some 67 companies have #Idea2Pitch, which is now into its sixth session. Victoria Forrest of VIKA Books and Nemo D’Qrill of Sigma Polaris both went on to be accepted into the SETsquared Bristol business incubation programme after honing their pitching abilities at #Idea2Pitch events.
SETsquared Bristol’s entrepreneur-in-residence, Greville Commins, will be hosting the afternoon of workshops followed by a pitching session. For more information and to register, visit: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/setsquared-idea2pitch-event-tickets-57163112408.
