Energy company Sustain sold to Anthesis Group
Global sustainability services and solutions provider, The Anthesis Group, has announced the acquisition of Bristol energy and carbon management solutions provider Sustain. Sustain, which designs and manages energy resources for public and private sector organisations including the National Trust, Tesco, Mitie and London Underground, changed hands for an undisclosed sum.
As the tenth acquisition since the formation of Anthesis in September 2013, the company has been open in its ambition to become the market leading sustainability and solutions provider.
CEO of Anthesis Group, Stuart McLachlan, said: “Joining forces with Sustain allows us to enhance the Group’s offering in the energy efficiency market, an area where we are seeing particular growth. We are now able to support our clients in the end-to-end design and implementation of energy and carbon management projects.”
“With the ratification of the Paris Agreement, the global energy system is clearly evolving,” added Tobias Parker, CEO of Sustain (pictured). “Being part of the Group allows us to play on a bigger stage through their global reach. We are looking forward to joining forces with a talented and committed leadership team, helping organisations on their journey to a sustainable future.”
