Top five Most Demanded Jobs In 2022
What career should you opt for if you’re looking for a job? This question is all the more important given how the coronavirus pandemic has changed the job market.
As the world enters 2022, COVID-19 continues to shape our lives in each and every aspect. On the one hand, health professionals—including vaccine specialists—are as highly demanded as ever; on the other hand, however, there are plenty of available remote jobs in Bristol.
So, what will be the most popular jobs this year? (Spoiler alert: They all are white-collar.)
1. Vaccine specialist
Global vaccination against COVID-19 has been and is likely to remain an important social trend for the months, if not years, to come. Thus, the health and medical research industries will be in dire need of experts capable of developing and testing vaccines. They could work in government or corporate institutions, with high salaries in both. The job, however, requires solid education and experience.
2. Artificial intelligence specialist
As is with any IT-related sector, artificial intelligence will see growth in 2022 and beyond. It is already playing an important role, including in the health field. AI-based products are used across the board, and thus people with relevant programming and engineering skills could find a job wherever they like. While it is a well-paid career, it also is a demanding one, and there is little chance of being employed without prior experience and skills.

3. Customer marketing manager
As most businesses have got used to online, they need to find new ways to connect to their clients. That is why customer marketing managers are sought after. Typically, the job involves navigating sales and marketing departments in their quest to engage as many customers as possible—including by showing how a brand cares for them in these challenging times.
4. Cybersecurity specialist
While people are increasingly relying on electronic means of communication during the COVID-19
pandemic, they are even more vulnerable to cyberattacks. Moreover, since cyberthreats keep changing and adjusting, a specialist able to keep up with them and ensure that a company’s network is safe and customers’ data is not compromised will be invaluable.
5. Data scientist
Last but lot least, big data is likely to continue to be trending in 2022, Jooble estimates. Companies,
especially large ones, need to process vast amounts of information for decision-making purposes. Data scientists will be most wanted in banking, telecommunication, and research. While jobs are well-paid, the field is demanding and, again, requires keeping up with constant changes.
That having been said, experts at Jooble have observed a clear distinction between white- and blue-
collar jobs, the former being presented as a career choice and the latter as a source of temporary or additional income. These include pharmacy delivery drivers; jobs at Royal Mail, Tesco, Amazon, etc.; jobs as hospital porter, hospital cleaning, part-time staff needed cash hand, catering assistant school dinner ladies, etc.
