Vision creative conference returns in May
Vision Bristol, a conference hosted by Bristol Media, will return on May 11-12 bringing together experts from the marketing, communications and creative industries to learn, network and share knowledge.
Now in its fifth year, the event is to be held at the Anson Rooms where thought leaders will share their views and expertise on the future of the digital and creative industries to “drive creativity and innovation across the southwest creative and media sectors”.
“The reason that we are able to attract speakers of such high calibre to Vision is testament to the fact that Bristol is recognised more than ever as a hotbed of creative, technology and entrepreneurial talent, both across the UK and internationally,” says Caroline Marshall, event producers and Bristol Media Operations Director.
“Vision is attended by those in the creative and digital industries but also people from a raft of other sectors who are interested in the latest thinking on leadership and management, entrepreneurship and the future of digital, as well as the opportunity to share ideas and network with people from outside their immediate circle.”
“The world needs more conferences like Vision Bristol which strives to improve the business acumen of those running creative businesses,” says Blair Enns, keynote speaker.
Twenty industry leaders will be speaking at at the annual two-day conference, this year on the theme of Connecting Creativity, discussing a variety of conversations, from the third wave of the internet to staying on top of social. 2016’s speakers include Jason Romeyko from Saatchi & Saatchi, Stephen Murphy from Google, Mark Curtis from Fjord, and Fred Jones, General Manager of Uber UK.
The line up also features industry greats from the local vicinity, including Mark Bowkowski, well-respected celebrity & arts PR and Margaret Heffernan, writer, entrepreneur and TEDtalk regular. Also speaking will be Tim Westwell, co-founder and MD of local success story Pukka Herbs and Tom Barker, Head of Digital at the National Trust, based in Swindon.
