Wapping Wharf named ‘best address’ on Bristol’s harbourside
The merits of living on Bristol’s harbourside have long been known, but now it’s official – The Sunday Times has named it one of the best places to live in the UK, with ‘best address’ in the area going to Wapping Wharf.
The harbourside came in at number three in the South West region in the national newspaper’s annual Best Places to Live in the UK round-up. Judges “championed locations that showcased great community spirit”.
With its eclectic mix of independent restaurants, cafes and shops providing a thriving hub of activity for residents and visitors to the area (under normal circumstances), it’s no surprise Wapping Wharf, Bristol’s much-loved new neighbourhood received a special mention.
It’s already home to an established community of residents, but Wapping Wharf is now growing with over 30% of the one, two and three-bedroom apartments in the latest phase of development, known as Wapping Wharf Living, having already been snapped up (subject to contract).
David Caught, residential sales and marketing director at Wapping Wharf Living, said: “From its iconic waterside views to its vibrant cultural and leisure scene, there are so many reasons to love the harbourside.
“It’s been wonderful to see Wapping Wharf embraced by the city over the last few years and we were thrilled that The Sunday Times named our growing harbourside neighbourhood ‘best address’ in their article.”
He added: “It’s been encouraging to hear from people interested in the homes being created at Wapping Wharf over the last few weeks, demonstrating that there are many are keen not to put their plans on hold.
“Like many others we have had to adapt to the current situation, so we’ve been offering virtual appointments to enable anyone interested in the apartments for sale to find out more.”
