EXCLUSIVE: Boris Trump kiss artists revealed
Felix Braun and Jack Dones of Bristol street art crew Paintsmiths have been revealed as the artists behind the mural on Stokes Croft showing Donald Trump and Boris Johnson in a passionate embrace.
The pair were commissioned to paint the piece by We Are Europe, a group dedicated to convincing young people to register to vote in order to keep Britain in the EU.

“We don’t ordinarily do political work, but on this occasion we were happy to do this job,” Braun told Bristol24/7.
The pair took all day on Monday painting the piece, which was inspired by the 1990 Berlin Wall creation by Dmitri Vrubel depicting Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev and East German President Erich Honecke in a fraternal embrace.
Braun added: “It’s always fun painting on Stokes Croft, it’s never the same. It’s always pretty lively.
“The object of it (the piece) is to make people laugh and it’s certainly done that. The reaction has been overwhelming.”
We Are Europe co-founder Harriet Kingaby said: “People need to look at this image and think – is this the future I want? Research shows that most people in their 20s and 30s would vote to remain in the EU, but 7.5 million people still haven’t registered to vote.”
Bethan Harris, another We Are Europe founder, added: “We started We are Europe because we didn’t want anyone to wake up on June 24 and wish they’d done more to ensure we didn’t sleep walk into brexit. The polls are tight. Not turning out on either side of the Atlantic, is a vote out; and a vote for a world with these two guys in charge.”
