Cult Screens comes to Bristol
Cult Screens comes to Bristol in August for five outdoor screenings at Clifton College. Billing itself as “the country’s most luxurious and comfortable open air cinema experience,” the Reading-based organisation offers a number of seating types, ranging in price from £32 (double beanbag and blanket) to £9.50 (humble cushion, concessionary price) – all plus inevitable booking fees.
Here are your options:
- Double Bean Bag: £32 – Large bean bag for two punters, prime spot at front, including blanket hire.
- Single Bean Bag: £16/£13.50 (concession) – Prime spot at front, includes blanket hire. (10 -17 year olds must be accompanied by parent).
- Deckchairs and Director’s Chairs: £14.50. Seating isn’t tiered so there are no concession tickets on deckchairs because shorties won’t be able to see.
- Floor Cushions: £12/£9.50 concession. (10 -17 year olds must be accompanied by a parent)
The line-up will be pretty familiar to anyone who’s attended an al fresco screening event before, though Cult Screens are adding a bit of grit with Pulp Fiction and a rare outdoor screening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Doors open at 7pm on each night, with the film on screen at 8.15pm. Here’s the programme in full:

In addition, they’re promising a fully-stocked bar, including pitcher cocktails and craft beers, plus street food stalls and fresh popcorn.
