By Bristol24/7  Friday Dec 16, 2016

Star Wars fans arriving at Vue Cribbs Causeway for the opening night of Rogue One were welcomed by the Bristol Metropolitan Orchestra playing well known songs from the Stars Wars soundtrack.

Among the tunes was Darth Vader’s theme The Imperial March to mark the villain’s return to the big screen.

Vue Cribbs Causeway was one of six locations across the UK taking part in a special orchestral event to mark the blockbuster’s debut in cinemas on December 15.

General manager Mark Collins said: “Customers come to Vue for truly immersive experiences, and we were thrilled to welcome ours with a live orchestra performance.

“We’re confident Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will amaze fans on-screen, so we’re doing our part off-screen to ensure cinema goers have a night to remember.”
