Full 6 Music Festival lineup released

Underworld, Foals and Laura Marling have been announced as part of the full lineup for the 6 Music Festival. Tickets go on sale on Monday, January 25, for the festival which will be held across multiple venues in Bristol from February 12 to 14.

Also among the new acts to be announced are Roots Manuva, John Grant, Suede, Everything Everything, Guy Garvey and Savages.

The festival will be accompanied by a number of fringe events, including two stages hosted by Bristol24/7 – an all-day event at The Fleece headlined by Eva Lazarus and followed by an evening event at The Attic headlined by Jus Now.

Tricky will be headlining Motion on the Saturday

The new announcements join headliners Primal Scream, Tricky and Roni Size who were announced in December when the festival’s location was revealed. The full lineup can be seen for the first time here:

Friday, February 12, at Motion (£35)

– Performing across two stages from 5pm: Primal Scream, Yeasayer, Roots Manuva, Savages, !!!, Blossoms, and Sherwood & Pinch

Saturday, February 13, at Motion (£35)

– Performing across two stages from 5pm: Suede, Daughter, Roisin Murphy, Tricky presents Skilled Mechanics, Steve Mason, Field Music and C Duncan

Saturday, February 13, at Colston Hall and O2 Academy (£40)

– Colston Hall, performing across three stages from 4pm: Underworld, Roni Size & DJ Krust present Full Cycle, White Denim, Misty In Roots, Ezra Furman, RAT BOY, Blanck Mass, Gwenno and Golden Rules, Dennis Bovell, DJ Queen Bee, Ray Mighty, Fresh 4, Bliss Zion, 2 Kings Records Soundsystem

– O2 Academy, Bristol (main stage) from 5pm: Bob Mould, Mystery Jets and Hinds

Sunday, February 14, at Motion (£35)

– Performing across two stages from 5pm: Foals, Everything Everything, Beirut, frank turner & the sleeping souls, POLIÇA, Kurt Vile and The Invisible

Sunday, February 14, at Colston Hall and O2 Academy (£40)

– Colston Hall, performing across three stages from 4pm: Laura Marling, John Grant, Guy Garvey, Julia Holter, The Blue Aeroplanes, Rozi Plain, This Is The Kit and THE MOONLANDINGZ, Gilles Peterson, The Pop Group ‘noise set’ with Geoff Barrow, Auntie Flo, Matthew Herbert, Mount Kimbie, Appleblim, and Beyond The Wizard’s Sleeve

– O2 Academy, Bristol (main stage) on February 14 from 5pm: Buzzcocks, BLOC PARTY and Hooton Tennis Club

Eva Lazurus will be headlining Bristol24/7‘s stage

Last week 6 Music released details of the fringe festival which will be taking place at an additional 16 venues around the city, showcasing local talent.

Two stages hosted and programmed by Bristol24/7 will include:

Eva Lazarus, Bristol hip-hop showcase hosted by MC Krazy, SJ Esau, Candy Darling, The St. Pierre Snake Invasion, Lionface, The Hysterical Injury, Kayla Painter, The Dead Astronaut, Katapulto, Jemima Surrender

Saturday, February 13 at The Attic Bar, 9pm-10.30pm (£3 after 9pm) 

Jus Now (dj set), Batu, Lurka, White Bully Soundsystem, Ironside
