New Asian music night launching this month
A new regular Asian music night is set to launch in Bristol, showcasing some of the best contemporary Bhangra-infused music from the UK and beyond and offering music lovers the chance to discover new artists and meet like-minded people.
The new night goes by the name of Aadhunik, a Hindi word meaning ‘modern’ or ‘cutting edge’, and will take place at Trinity for the first time on Friday, December 11.
The line-up for the first event boasts some big names from the global South Asian music scene, including DJ Rekha from Basement Bhangra, The Dhol Foundation and BBC Asian Network’s DJ Bobby Friction.
