Preview: Oh, The Guilt EP launch
Bands often take a few releases to find their way but it doesn’t seem to have been an issue for Oh, The Guilt. Their self-titled EP is one of the strongest Bristol debuts we’ve heard in a while.
The trio have already made a name for themselves on the live circuit, with a classic alternative rock sound that contrasts fine songwriting and high emotional drama with stark dynamics and buckets of volume.
is needed now More than ever
From the fevered post-punk of White Car to the Gen X anthemics of Wired Jaws, there’s enough going on in these four tracks to suggest they’re a band to get excited about.
Pre-order the EP from Bandcamp now and download the stirring Watch Yrself right away.
Oh, The Guilt EP Launch is at Stag & Hounds on Saturday, March 19 with support from former Bristol24/7 interviewees Candy Darling, plus The Plainviews and DJ Renee Ruin.
