Valley Fest announce headliners

By Bristol24/7  Friday Apr 1, 2016

Stereo MCs, The Blockheads, and Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club featuring Hannah Williams are headlining this year’s Valley Fest.

The festival is returning to the Chew Valley from September 2 to 4 with a “love the land” ethos, promising to celebrate everything home grown and natural, “with no commercial nonsense on the stage or on your plate”.

Valley Fest was created when farmer Luke Hasell teamed up with Yeo Valley, with the festival taking place on an organic farm overlooking Chew Valley Lake and the countryside beyond.

The all-organic festival will feature live performances, a cinema field, locally-sourced food, festival feasts, street art, cookery demonstrations, farm tours and kids workshops.

“It’s always exciting to get people onto the land for a weekend of dancing in tipis and spending quality time with friends and family,” Luke says.

“Valley Fest is all about sharing what my parents left behind, celebrating everything home grown with no commercial nonsense and it’s great to be able to celebrate this with the public and a strong line-up as the final farewell to summer.”

Tickets are now on sale from www.valleyfest.co.uk
