Eat Drink Bristol Fashion launch 2015 event
Eat Drink Bristol Fashion will take over Queen Square for the fourth year running from April 29 to May 10, with a stage usually found in the Glade at the Glastonbury Festival.
The tipis will once again host a tapas restaurant, bar and music stages alongside a new Eat Drink Bristol Fashion market.
Collaborations will be the name of the game this year. On May 4, Casamia, The Pony & Trap and The Pumphouse will join forces for a Bristol chefs evening.
is needed now More than ever
On May 3 it will be the turn of some of Bath’s hottest talent behind the stoves: Sam Moody of the Bath Priory, Hywel Johns of Lucknam Park and Richard Davies of The Manor.
The other Bristol collaboration to look out for is a nose-to-tail evening with meat sourced from The Story farm and live butchery, with chefs from The Pony & Trap, The Ox, Source and The Cowshed.
Event organiser and Pony & Trap chef-owner Josh Eggleton will also be joining forces with some of the UK’s top gastropubs.
Over the Bank Holiday weekend a local producer’s market will take up residence along two opposite sides of Queen Square, as well as a music stage and cookery theatre.
Eat Drink co-founder Luke Hasell said: “This year we want to bring something really special to Bristol with a stage usually found in the Glade in Glastonbury set up for the occasion and some of the most interesting chefs we have seen cooking in the tipis.”
Tickets for all events go on sale at 9am on Friday. For tickets and more information, visit www.eatdrinkbristolfashion.co.uk/queen-square/the-event.
