Beerd replaces Gordito at Colston Hall

By Bristol24/7  Monday Feb 15, 2016

It will come as no surprise to anyone who has seen it virtually empty most nights to hear that Gordito at the Colston Hall has closed. Despite serving some of the tastiest tapas in town, the restaurant just never pulled in the punters.

In its place comes Beerd, the third of Bath Ales’ craft beers and pizza bars – the original of which remains on St Michael’s Hill in Kingsdown, with another in a former pub in Oxford.

The new Beerd opened with a bang as part of the 6 Music Festival, with queues stretching out of the door for most of the weekend.

From February 23, it will be open for food and drink on show nights in the main hall, serving pizzas, bar snacks and beers from the Beerd brewery in Warmley and across the world.
