New Pieminister opens in time for Pie Week
Pieminister have opened their first restaurant in Bristol for more than 10 years just in time for the start of British Pie Week.
The new opening on Broad Quay on the centre coincides with the launch of new vegetarian pie the Saag Pie-Neer – a pea, paneer, spinach, potato, chilli and mango pie served with lime pickle.
is needed now More than ever
It has also opened as Meat Free Mondays come to Pieminister restaurants and cafes across the UK, with 50p off all vegetarian and vegetarian hot pot pies.
This new Broad Quay restaurant has opened in what was most recently Fuego, whose co-owner Gonzalo Trujillo was involved in setting up Pieminister.
It is noticeably darker inside than before, with a number of design touches familiar from the Stokes Croft restaurant and features including iron grills, black slates, giant test tubes and neon lighting.
A new menu includes pigs in blanket sticks that can come on top of your pie; and toffee apple, lemon meringue and ‘Glastonbury mud’ ice cream pies.
