Yurt Lush reopens in its new home
A wood burning stove in the middle of the central yurt is the first port of call for many visitors to Yurt Lush’s new home in Clock Tower Yard next to Temple Meads.
An old copy of Bristol24/7 magazine has been used for kindling and inside the stove the wood glows red, slowly warming the yurts that now number three following the move of only a few hundred yards.
The entrance to the new Yurt Lush is through an imposing stone archway, with the interconnecting wooden tents near the entrance to the Loco Klub and next door to shipping containers transformed into offices, biding their time before grand plans which will see Temple Meads’ new entrance this side of the station.
is needed now More than ever
But that’s not going to happen for a while yet and Yurt Lush’s new home also sees themed weeknight menus from March 14 (fish on Tuesdays, steak on Wednesdays and curry on Thursdays) as well as a a new office buffet delivery service.
On weekdays, breakfast is served from 8am, lunch from midday and after-work drinks until late. From March 27, weekends will see a new all-day brunch menu, with a £14 Sunday lunch.
“Look at that fire,” comments a young visitor to his dad as he holds his hands close to the stove. A warm welcome here is guaranteed.
