A Volley fired into Clifton

By Bristol24/7  Monday Sep 21, 2015

The Hophouse in Clifton Village will be reopened next month by the team behind the Royal Navy Volunteer on King Street, who promise a new restaurant as well as a much-improved pub.

“Beer fans will be able to choose from what we’re confident will be the widest array of beers in the village, but maybe most exciting for us will be taking the local suppliers we’ve built relationships with and creating an innovative fine dining menu for the restaurant upstairs,” says the Volley’s Alex Major.

With more than a decade’s experience in the pub trade, Major has been credited with transforming the Volley into a pub that now forms part of Bristol’s renowned ‘Beermuda Triangle’.

Major and his team will not just be replicating the Volley, and builders are already onsite with the new pub and restaurant expected to open in mid-October.
