Corks open third Bristol store – and first bar

Corks have become the first business to open in the shipping containers that make up Cargo at Wapping Wharf.

It is the independent wine and spirits merchants’ third shop after Cotham Hill and North Street, but despite being their smallest so far it’s their first to have its own bar.

Customers visiting Corks at Cargo have the option of trying wines in store on a wooden bar taking up one side of the single container.

Red and white wines are available by the glass from £3.75 to £4.75.

They also promise the odd spirit to try during their opening hours from midday to 9pm Monday to Saturday, and midday to 5pm on Sunday.
