A Clifton Suspension Bridge for cats

An architect has created a scaled-down model of the Clifton Suspension Bridge for his cat.

Chris Ball of Bath-based Batterham Matthews Architects took time off from designing Bristol primary schools to build a smaller version of Brunel’s masterpiece at his home in Westbury-on-Trym for one-eyed tabby Archie.

When not at his day job or treating his cat, Chris is a keen sportsman playing rugby, cricket, and golf, and in the summer months kayaks on the River Avon in his lunch hour.
