Trollied returns to Sky1
The Bottle Yard Studios in Hengrove once again hosted Sky 1 sitcom Trollied, which returns to our screens on Monday for its fourth series.
The supermarket comedy filmed at the Bristol studios for seven weeks over the summer.
Trollied was one of the first productions to call The Bottle Yard home in 2011 when it constructed a purpose-built, full-scale supermarket set on-site – which has since been used for other productions including Top Gear who raced cars around the aisles.
is needed now More than ever
The Bottle Yard Studios’ managing director Fiona Francombe said: “After four years of shooting with us, Trollied have established a real home with us here at The Bottle Yard Studios. It’s always exciting to see their elaborately realistic supermarket on TV screens with each new series. We hope to welcome them back again soon.”
Other productions to film at The Bottle Yard Studios in recent months include Disney/ABC Studios’ musical comedy fairytale Galavant starring Joshua Sasse, BBC Two drama Wolf Hall starring Damian Lewis and Mark Rylance, and BBC One drama Poldark starring Aidan Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson.
