Christmas comes early to Bedminster

Father Christmas’ elves will take up residence on North Street Green in Bedminster from Friday, November 25.

Snow will be falling from 5.30pm to 7pm on Friday on miniature properties including the Elf Inn Hotel, the Elf & Safety Office and Santa’s workshops.

Children big and small kid can also send their letters using the dedicated North Pole post box.

Bedminster’s snowy season will continue on Saturday, November 26 with the East Street Christmas Market where the big man himself will make an appearance alongside his reindeer and grotto, as well as live music, arts and crafts, street markets, and festive entertainment.

“This year’s Christmas installations are about celebrating the area, its community and all that is festive in Bedminster,” said Simon Dicken, chairman of Bedminster Business Improvement Distric

“Where else will you find snow, real reindeer, Santa, elf villages and a gigantic snowman in Bristol?

“Instead of wishing for a white Christmas this year, we decided to bring it to Bedminster with falling snow coming to a range of events in the area from now through to Christmas.”

Snow is forecast for Bedminster on the following dates:

– North Street Green, November 25, 5.30pm – 7pm
– East Street Christmas Fair, November 26, 11am – 3pm
– North Street Green Christmas event, December 3
– Asda Gates and Caraboo Square, December 9
