Cyclists stop car before attacking driver

A group of cyclists forced a car to stop before one of them punched the driver in the face.

Police released a photo of a cyclist wanted connection with the attack on Winterstoke Road at 10am on June 8.

A police spokesperson said: “A group of cyclists suddenly stopped in front of a car, forcing the driver to stop.

“One of the cyclists then started to shout abuse and punch the car. He then punched the driver of the car in the face and shoulder.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 and quote crime reference number 5216124784.
